the flip-flop life is the life for me. I have come to realized that i don't like being constrained by shoes. it is true - so here is the analogy, metaphor the actual understanding of the flip-flop life. Shoes enclose your feet, they cover everything up and make sure that you don't show who you are, but what shoe you are wearing. so people don't know you, they know your shoe. in flip-flops people see your feet in all their beauty and allow you to move. with shoes you have to wear socks, another layer between you and your feet. you can't wear socks with flip-flops - that would look funny...unless you don't want your feet to get dirty, well, then you shouldn't be wearing flip-flops in the first place. flip-flops or "chapals" in hindi or nepali allow you to be free of everything. when one wears flip-flops they are casual, at ease, more themselves. they enjoy life and can at anypoint in time take off those flip-flops and go run bare feet. with shoes, you have to take off the shoes, take of the socks and then your feet are free...flip-flops allow your feet to breath...shoes don't. so what does this tell you about me - i like to be free - not constrained by life and what life has to offer. sure, i will put on the shoes - but i prefer to live in flip-flops. i think if everyone wore flip-flops then peope would be more laid-back, not so uptight and much more free. so wear flip-flops - don't go to bars that won't allow you in because you are not wearing shoes - go to places where flip-flops are loved not hated. if you go some place and they say - "sorry sir/maam, you don't have the right shoes on" - then walk away - you don't want to be there anyway...live the flip-flop life...be free - enjoy - break free of the constraints that society places upon us and be yourself...wear what makes you comfortable and makes you happy - for me that is flip-flops. ;-)
