Back into the grind -
so my adventures in india are over, but my adventures in the states have just begun! haha! now it is time for my second year of Grad studies - following up on the desired plan to become a International Development Specialist - this i have learned will happen one paper and reading at a time - and in the end, it will happen over beers and drinks at bars with fellow classmates and DCites discussing politics and economics after several drinks. AHH DC - it is fun - plus it is fun to get into highly intellectual conversations with people after several gin and tonics - i highly recommend it - it is truely amusing - pushing buttons without pushing people away - i think it is a skill and one that can be acquired in our fair and lovely city of DC - i think they term it "being politcally correct" - you can insult people, without really insulting them...it is true - try it - it is fun...
so i am back in the grind of day in and day out life in DC - back at GW back in the library and back with the books - it is nice to be back and to be doing thins again - well i say that now, and come about two months i will be cursing my life as i am buried under papers and reports...haha! but until that point in time i can lavish in the freedom of being a college (albiet graduate student) student one more time...
alright - next time pictures of my adventures in DC - i will try to make these blogs as amusing and insightful (or boring) as you have found my other blogs - i will try to tread on topics that i will be looking at in class and that i will be discussing with fellow drunken classmates in bars......
enjoy....
