so here i am back in India - it is a normal feeling, i don't feel odd or out of place - my hindi came back real fast, though it is worse than when i left 3 months ago, i am still impressed i was able to bring it back as quick as i was...i wonder if i could do the same with nepali? probably not...it has been nearly TWO years since i spoke that....
so to my loyal blog readers (and i can't even say i have any, cause my mom, who would be the only one, has no clue how to use the internet or the computer) you will notice one difference in my blogs - no original pics...so this means, that i will snag pics from other sites and load them up - that way, i can maintain my picture status, without bring you with just words - so here is why i will have no pics - my brand new digital camera, is broke. two months out of the box, used often and the screen on the LCD blew out - you wonder what $400 camera could do this - the Sony DCS T-10 - the top of the line...damn - gotta love manufacturers defects - so my camera has been sent back to sony and will come back 6-8 weeks, possibly longer due to the holidays, so therefore i have no digital camera to take pictures with - so....with that said, i have brought my SLR to India, and will be shooting film - and when i get back stateside, i will develop ALL my film and get CD's made of my pics...maybe then, i will go back and put up pics related to the blogs...maybe...
but i will say one thing, with the SLR in hand, i feel like a real photgrapher, not a point in shoot kind of guy and i forgot about how fast it take pictures...so i am excited - a little bulkier than i like and no sense of immediate gratification, but hey - it will be worth the wait!
so the flight out here was fun - i must say, i like Air France, all of their seats have individual screens so you can watch whatever you want - which is nice, the movies all start at the same time, so it isn't when you click on it - they also have simple video games - it is quite nice - touch screen and all - the food on AF is not so desirable, but they provide you with free wine and beer - oh the beer - i think this was the first time i have seen Milwakee's Best served...and some ber called 1665? either way, it was the lowest class beer i have EVER seen on a flight, not beeing a beer snob or anything, but one would expect better - at least bud light...well regardless, i started on wine and got wasted on wine - it was fun, till i passed out and woke up extremelly hungover and had to fight my way through Charles De Gaul Aiport - which is not pleasant with all the restoration that is going on...plus, french efficiency is amazing! one security check for several flights of people...it makes NO sense to me..but anyway -
the last leg of the flight from france to India, i pretty much slept - it was nice - well not really, but because i was still recovering from the wine, it made the sleeping easier - then watched a couple of movies and chatted with the guy sitting next to me...overall a pleasant and nice experience - didn't drink on the second flight, i had more than my fill on the first one! haha!
now back in bombay, surprisinly not that jet lagged - so that is nice...
anyway, this is all for now - time to do work...
